"The cuisine is American, and, the food is homemade. I have had lunch there 3 times, and left very satisfied 3 times. Absolutely delicious! If you are ever in this neck of the woods, I recommend this place for lunch. The crab cake sandwich is to die for. Their homemade soups are incredible. I'm a huge fan of club sandwiches. Princess Anne County Grill makes the **best** club sandwich I have ever had. There desserts look incredible, but, I've always been too full to get to try one. Perhaps I'll get one to go next time. This restaurant is not large, or, extravagant. It has a homey, cozy feel. The Grill prides itself in the freshness of the ingredients it uses and the size of the the portions it serves. We buy fresh from the local Farmer's Market vendors. We offer a wide range of "country" style meals reminiscent of those family gatherings at grandma's. Large portions means no one leaves hungry. During the warm weather months the Grill hosts Friday night meatloaf specials in conjunction with the Farmer's Market Friday Night Hoedowns. Nestled in the heart of Virginia Beach's Farmer's Market you'll find the best kept secret in Virginia Beach - the Princess Anne County Grill. The Princess Anne County Grill (known as "the Grill") takes it name from the historic area of which it is located - Princess Anne County. This area of Virginia Beach was once populated by old farms and beautifully architected farmhouses and businesses. Unfortunately most of these treasures are now gone. The Grill pays homage to the history of Princess Anne County in it's restaurant decor. Antique signs and furniture adorn the interior giving a vintage and homey feel. A nice tribute to the old former county in which it resides.
